If not, now is the perfect time to explore your funding options. With an estimated all-in cost for your complete ADU project — including design, permits, sitework, and construction.

Research & Development

· Feasibility study
· Site measurements&Survey Coodination
Accurate site measurements are essential to prevent costly errors during design and construction. Optional: For more complex properties, we coordinate boundary and topographic surveys.
· Kick-off call 
We discuss your goals, budget, and design vision, and outline the design and permitting process so you know what to expect.
· Preliminary Agency review (if applicable)
Time: 2-3 weeks

Design & Development

· Design Review #1
· Design Review #2
· Design Review #3
· Release for Engineering

During this phase, we  create your floor plan and exterior elevations, along with 3D renderings (if applicable). This includes up to three rounds of revisions to ensure the design aligns with your vision.
Time: 8-10 weeks

Our team prepares a complete set of plans and all supporting documents required for permit submission. We coordinate closely with trusted consultants to ensure all necessary engineering calculations and reports are completed accurately and on time.
Time: 6-8 weeks

Permit management

· Final approval

We handle the entire permitting process on your behalf. Our team submits all plans directly to the City and coordinates closely with the building departments to help your project move efficiently through plan check and approval. We stay proactive during the review process, addressing any comments or revisions promptly to avoid delays.
Time: 4-6 months

Permit Issuance

We assist in gathering all required documents and issuance forms and coordinate with local agencies to obtain final permit approval.

Time: 2 weeks

Construction Administration

We actively manage the construction phase to ensure your project is built exactly as designed. Our team responds promptly to all Requests for Information (RFIs), coordinates directly with subcontractors, and performs regular site visits to verify that construction aligns with the approved plans and specifications. This hands-on approach helps prevent costly errors and ensures quality control throughout the build.
